Two injured after mixer truck and private bus collide in Pathanamthitta

PATHANAMTHITTA: A private bus collided with a tipper truck carrying a concrete mixer in Kaipattur. The truck lost control and overturned and rammed onto a private bus that was going to Adoor from Pathanamthitta. The private bus also overturned due to the impact of the hit. According to the local politicians, the passengers of the bus and the lorry have been injured. It is reported that one person in the mixing truck and one passenger in the private bus were seriously injured.

The speeding lorry overturned in front of Kaipattur Govt VHSS at around 10.15 am. Locals and the fire force are carrying out rescue operations. Following the accident, there was a traffic jam on the road to Pathanamthitta. Efforts to decongest the traffic are underway.
