I'm not opposition leader to constantly criticize govt; Governor Arif Mohammad Khan once again praises achievements of state govt

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has heaped praises on the achievements of the state government in various fields. The government is performing well in the health and social welfare sectors. The governor, who said that the government is performing well in the health and social welfare sectors, added that he is not an opposition leader to constantly criticize the government. The governor also pointed out that he criticizes the government only in unconstitutional matters.

Arif Mohammad Khan also hinted that the state government does not have the sovereign power to make decisions regarding the education sector. "Education is in the concurrent list. Therefore, the Legislative Assembly cannot take a decision on it singlehandedly," he said.

Meanwhile, the governor had praised the Pinarayi Vijayan government in his speech on Republic Day.
