Incident, where old man was found dead in lodge, was a murder; neighbour arrested

THODUPUZHA: The police have found that an old man, who was found dead in a lodge room in Muttom the other day, was murdered. Marthandam native Yesudas was found dead in a lodge in Muttom on January 24. The finding in the post-mortem report led the police to the conclusion that Yesudas was murdered.

According to the post-mortem report, a blood clot in the head was the cause of death. Following this, the police launched an investigation and discovered that Yesudas' neighbour was responsible for the murder. In the past, Yesudas had tried to molest his neighbour's daughter. The police stated that the enmity over this incident led to the murder.
