Married man working as food delivery boy kidnaps girl on pretense of romance, gets arrested

VITHURA: Man who works as a food delivery boy was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a girl on the pretense of love. The arrested has been identified as S. Akhil (21) of Edavalakam house in Vallakadav's Mukkolakkal in Thiruvananthapuram. The accused is married and the father of an 8-month-old child. He eloped with a girl from Vattiyoorkavu Kodunganur two years ago while working as a delivery boy. He then married the girl after relatives' intervention.

By hiding this relationship, he pretended to love and kidnapped the girl from Vithura. As per the police, Akhil used to work as a delivery boy in hotels in different parts of the district and used to make acquaintances with girls at houses where he delivers food. The accused and the girl were found by a police team led by Vithura CI Ajay Kumar with the help of cyber cell. The accused was later produced in Nedumangad court and remanded.
