Father gets multiple life terms for making daughter pregnant

MALAPPURAM: Father who made pregnant his minor daughter has been sentenced to three life sentences by the court. Along with this, a fine of Rs 6,60,000 has been placed. The incident occurred in Malappuram in 2021. The guilty is a madrassa teacher.

In her mother's absence, the father used to coerce his 14-year-old daughter into copulation. The incident continued for many months after he threatened to kill the victim's mother if words spread out. The Vazhikkaddavu police took up the issue and made the arrest in 2021.
