Bottles bought from BEVCO and sold at higher prices; alcohol sold even on Dry Day

KOCHI: The man who was delivering foreign liquor to the needy including on dry days was caught by the Elamakkara police. Babu (48) from Puthukkalavattam Lourd Matha church road was the one who got caught. 19 liters of liquor was recovered from the accused. The liquor was bought from the BEVCO outlet and sold at a higher price. The suspect was arrested by a police team led by Elamakkara SHO Saneesh.
