Atlas Ramachandran is not only an industrialist but also an artist and person who enjoyed great affection from the general public. He made a name for himself by featuring in the ads of his own jewellery firm, Atlas, in a unique way. At a memorial service held after his body was cremated in Dubai, Dr. Manju Ramachandran. Ramachandran's daughter, said that no matter how many births she takes, she wishes to be born as the same father's daughter.

"Social media is full of posts about my father. He was not an ordinary person. Even people who didn't meet him in person loved him. There was a place for him in everyone's mind. My father and I had little quarrels. He will fight with me like a little child. After a while, he will call me on the phone and speak with love. He did not adore me like other fathers adore their children. I have slight displeasure with my father regarding this. I don't know why. He has not given an answer to that.'- said Manju.

'When I started working at the jewellers, my father treated me the same way he treats other employees. There was no special consideration. I was seated in a corner of his office. All these lessons have enabled me to overcome any crisis in life. After marriage, father said that he will not interfere in my life. When I was pregnant, I called my father and mother saying that I am vomiting and sick. He replied that pregnancy is like this and I will have to experience all this. But after two days he came from Dubai to Thiruvananthapuram to see me. When I opened the box that my father had brought, it contained my favourite mango and tomato curry, prepared by my mother. That was the day I realized how much my father loved me. No matter how many births I have, I want to be born as my father's daughter. I have never seen my father blame anyone and always had a smile on his face.", Manju added,
