Lakshya Sen aims right; India bags 20th gold through Badminton Men's Singles

BIRMINGHAM: One more medal for India in Commonwealth Games. Lakshya Sen won gold in Badminton Men's Singles by defeating Malaysia's Ng Tze. It is Sen's first gold medal in CWG. With this, India has bagged a total of 20 gold medals.

Lakshya's score is 19-21, 21-9, 21-16. in three sets. After losing the first set, the player made a comeback in the next two attempts and won the gold. Earlier, Lakshya had won silver in the mixed doubles badminton at the Commonwealth Games.


So far, India has won 58 medals including 20 gold medals in the Games. India still have four gold medal events left.
