UP man who wore Pak jersey at Asia Cup match lands in trouble

sanyam-

DUBAI: A native of UP, who wore a Pakistan jersey at the India vs Pakistan clash in the Asia Cup, has found himself in trouble. Sanyam Jaiswal, a resident of Bareilly in UP, is the person who wore the Pakistan jersey and carried the Pakistan flag during the India-Pak match in Dubai. The problems started when his pictures went viral.

Jaiswal is a liquor dealer in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The man came wearing a Pakistani jersey, holding a Pakistani flag in one hand and the tricolour in the other. But Jaiswal says that he did not wear the Pak jersey on purpose. As per him, he looked for Indian jerseys but they were all sold out. Then he wore the Pakistan jersey as a joke. Jaiswal says that the supporters of the Pakistan team got angry when he started chanting Hindustan Zindabad slogans after wearing a Pakistan jersey. But Jaiswal is now being called a pro-Pakistan person by the locals. A complaint has also been received in the police requesting that a case be filed against him.
