COLOMBO: A 63-year-old truck driver died in Sri Lanka after standing in a queue before a petrol pump for five consecutive days. Sources said that he had been waiting for petrol with his truck outside a petrol pump in Anguruwatota for the last five days. He was found dead inside the vehicle when police arrived this morning. Preliminary information is that he died due to a heart attack.
This is not the first time a person died while waiting in line for fuel in Sri Lanka. Similar incidents were reported since the beginning of this year. Last week, a 53-year-old middle-aged man died while waiting to refuel in his autorickshaw.
