Husband wins Rs 1.3 crore lottery, wife runs off with lover and money

THAILAND: Manit, a Thailand citizen was on cloud nine after he won a lottery of Rs 1.3 crore, but it turned into a big nightmare after his wife ran off with the lottery prize along with her lover. The man planned to donate a portion of the lottery money to a temple and to his family members.

So, he conducted a ceremony to share a portion of the money with his relatives. During the function, he spotted an unknown man and asked his wife Angkanarat who he was. She told him that it is one of her relatives. But soon after the ceremony ended, she ran off with that man along with the cash. Manit and Angkanarat has been married for 26 years and have three children. But they didn’t have an official wedding certificate, which makes it difficult to retrieve the money. The police says that legal proceedings will follow even if they find Angkanarat.
