ന്യൂഡൽഹി:മുൻ കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി ജസ്വന്ത് സിംഗ് അന്തരിച്ചു. 82 വയസായിരുന്നു. വാജ്പേയി മന്ത്രിസഭയിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു. വിദേശകാര്യം,പ്രതിരോധ,ധനകാര്യ വകുപ്പുകൾ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തു. അഞ്ച് തവണ രാജ്യസഭാംഗമായിരുന്നു. നാല് തവണ ലോക്സഭ അംഗവുമായിരുന്നു.
പ്രതിരോധമന്ത്രി രാജ്നാഥ് സിംഗ് ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെയാണ് മരണ വാര്ത്ത അറിയിച്ചത്.മരണത്തിൽ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നരേന്ദ്ര മോദി അനുശോചിച്ചു.
