ജനീവ: ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടനാ തലവൻ ടെഡ്രോസ് അദനോം ഗെബ്രിയേസസ് കൊവിഡ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിൽ. സമ്പർക്കത്തിലേർപ്പെട്ട വ്യക്തിയ്ക്ക് കൊവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചതിനാൽ താൻ നിരീക്ഷണത്തിൽ പോകുകയാണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം ട്വിറ്ററിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചു.

'കൊവിഡ് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ച ഒരാളുടെ സമ്പർക്കപ്പട്ടികയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടു. ഞാൻ ആരോഗ്യവാനാണ്. എനിക്ക് കൊവിഡ് ലക്ഷണങ്ങളൊന്നുമില്ലെങ്കിലും വരും ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഞാൻ ക്വാറന്റീനിലായിരിക്കും. കൊവിഡ് മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങൾ പാലിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് ജോലി ചെയ്യും.' അദ്ദേഹം ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു.

I have been identified as a contact of someone who has tested positive for #COVID19. I am well and without symptoms but will self-quarantine over the coming days, in line with @WHO protocols, and work from home.
