THRISSUR: A group of IAS officers had captured the hearts of Keralites during the floods. Thrissur collector Anupama is one among them. She has been lauded for coordinating the activities during floods. Thrissur had suffered the worsst of floods when Chalakkudy River overflowed.

Anupama IAS was noted for arranging food and water in relief camps. She was also able to obtain support from several younsters. The youths of Thrissur had participated in disaster relief activities without support from any political parties.

The district authority is now concentrating on preparing and distributing kits which contain necessary items to those who return homes from relief camps. Youths in social media have also come forward with the collector’s requests to join this process.
