THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Netherlands has come forward offering technical help for the flood-affected Kerala. Netherlands has sent a letter to the central government offering necessary technical aid to rebuild Kerala. Meantime, they have not offered a financial aid.

The letter was sent by Netherlands Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management. The letter states that a team of experts will be sent to Kerala for evaluating the current situation at the flood-affected areas of the state. It was been said in the letter that several programmes for surviving floods that has become a success in Netherlands can be implemented in Kerala.

Meantime the cabinet meet on Friday had decided to send ministers to 14 countries for collecting fund for the relief, rehabilitation and reconstruction activities. The ministers will visit UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Germany, USA and Canada and collect funds. Each team will have a minister and several officers.
