BJP leader K Surendran has come forward against polit bureau member Brinda Karat in connection with the sexual abuse case against Shoranur MLA P K Sasi. Surendran alleged that

Though complaint was lodged by DYFI woman leader on August 14, Brinda Karat did not hand over it to the police, alleged K Surendran.

Surendran wrote in his Facebook post that Brinda Karat, who is aware of the law and order has committed a huge crime, and Brinda and CPM party leadership should clarify why the complaint was not handed over to the police.
