THRISSUR: Anupama IAS has been introducing government officials of Thrissur who have set an example for their services during the time of floods to the society through her Facebook page.

The collector has now praised services of E A Syamala, village officer of Methala village of Kodungallur Taluk in Thrissur. Camps were started in Methala under the leadership of Syamala. People had reached there even from Ernakulam district. About 27,000 people were residing in 26 camps in Methala.

Collector writes in her Facebook post that Syamala had visited these relief camps day and night and made sure that the primary requirements were available in these camps. Syamala was also the recipient of best village officer of the state in 2016.
