KOCHI: The ‘Bharath Bandh’ called by Congress and hartal called by LDF and UDF have begun in the state on Monday. However, advocate Sangeetha Lakshmana asked why the parties are observing such hartals.  “Parties should check whether these hartals are able to reduce the fuel price hike, else this is just a way to disrupt daily life of people including commoners who use public transport services daily”, wrote Sangeetha Lakshmana in her Facebook post.

Sangeetha also said that the representatives should focus on conducting effective discussions in the assembly meets.
