THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The opposition organizations are not cooperating with the salary challenge implemented by the government to rebuild Kerala after floods. “Those who oppose this salary challenge need not give the amount, but why are they protesting against it?”, asked Thomas Isaac in his Facebook post. Everyone has the chance to take the stand that money will not be given for such people. “I don’t understand why they are protesting against it instead of using this opportunity”, he said.

He also remembered those who tried to insult government officers when they conducted a 32 days-strike without salary against sabotaging pension and wage system during Antony government. The strike became successful when the public undertook it and now the officers are donating their salary for the public including common men, small scale shopkeepers and labourers, he said.
