THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actress Manju Warrier has demanded that government mechanisms open their eyes to the striking nuns’ complaints and legal action be taken against accused Bishop Franco Mulackal. 

“The more the delay in actions the more is the chance to hurt the sentiments of the society of believers. I don’t think that not even a single person who believes in Christ is with the Bishop. And in case anyone sides with him, he or she will be a person who denounces the Christ for 30 silver coins,” Manju Warrier alleges on his Facebook page.

The actress further says that she holds close to her, the hands of the nun who was abused. “I’m also joining the battle. The nuns and the general public have knelt before the justice system as if they are in front of an altar.”
