THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K K Joshua, one of the officers who investigated ISRO spy case said that the supreme court verdict in the case is baseless. “Nambi Narayanan who had not mentioned my name in the case dragged me in to this 18 years later on the basis of an unreliable report submitted by a CBI officer. We had investigated this case only for 15 days. We had not received any evidence to solve the case during this time”, he said.

“We were made victims in the case unnecessarily. I have been imposed of a simple offense that there are lapses in the case diary. I was not named in any of the cases filed by Nambi Narayanan. I will take further action after receiving the court order and discussing the matter with my advocate”, he added.

Meantime, two other officers S Vijayan and Sibi Mathews said that they are not ready to respond about the verdict. Raman Shrivastava said that conspiracy behind the case should be brought into light. He also said that he is not responding more since the Supreme Court has announced the final verdict in this case.
