THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ajinu, resident of Palode has won second prize of Karunya plus lottery worth Rs 10 lakh. Ajinu had thrown away the ticket since he did not see his number in the list of small-prize winning numbers. However, Ajinu’s friend Aneesh who knew that Ajinu has won the prize obtained information about the ticket from Ajinu and got the ticket from the place where he threw away the ticket. CCTV visuals of Aneesh taking the ticket has been found. Ajinu, who came to know about this has filed a complaint in the police station. Ajinu’s daughter is under treatment for heart disease. He used to borrow money for his daughter’s treatment. Aneesh cheated Ajinu though he was aware of all this.
