KOCHI: Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan has lashed out at the CPM also in the wake of the Supreme Court order for awarding compensation to him. The scientist said that he was made a scape-goat as part of Congress groupism. “Still I am unaware of the real reason behind those who trapped me in the case,” he said.

Nambi Narayanan made this harsh criticism at a debate organised by Ernakulam Karayogam.

“I am not willing to talk about the miseries I had to undergo in my life but still, I’m happy to have got justice after 24 years,” he said. The Supreme Court had earlier ordered an inquiry against officials who had trapped Nambi Narayanan in the Isro case.

The three-member commission headed by former Supreme Court judge D K Jain is in charge of the investigation. The bench led by Chief Justice Deepak Mishra had also ordered that the State government give Rs 50 lakh compensation to the scientist within eight weeks.
