KOTTAYAM: The nun who was allegedly abused by Jalandhar bishop Franco Mulakkal on Tuesday lodged a complaint against P C George MLA for using vulgur terms (prostitute) against her at a press conference recently.

The complaint was handed over to district police Chief Hari Shankar, who in turn handed it over to Vaikom DySP K Subhash who is probing the complaint against the bishop.

Earlier, National Women’s Commission had asked George to be present at its Delhi office for questioning. But George has said that his counsel will give the explanation.

“I don’t think the bishop can be blamed. The nun complained only the 13th time she was abused; there is something mysterious about this,” he had alleged.
