 CHERTHALA: The police have obtained clear hints about the tenth standard student and teacher of a private English medium school in Thaneermukkam who eloped together on September 23. The police may find them today. It has been informed that both of them are in Tamil Nadu. Their location was found by tracking down their mobile calls. A search has been initiated in Tamil Nadu by three teams led by Muhamma sub inspector SI Ajayamohan. The police have found that they have been using a new SIM card in the same phone. The investigation is moving forward by following IMEI number of the phone.

Both of them went missing from Thanneermukkam on September 23. The 40-year-old teacher is a native of Cherthala and she had reached the student’s house on the day of the incident. At noon, the student went to the bus stop to see off the teacher. Parents called the teacher when the student did not return home after thirty minutes, and the teacher told them that he returned home immediately. Her mobile was switched off when the parents called her after a few hours.
