THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Supreme Court had quashed an FIR registered against T P Senkumar based on the allegation he forged medical certificate to convert his availed half-pay leave into commuted leave.

The court observed the case was registered illegally. The verdict was announced by division bench chaired by justice U U Lalit.

 

The state government approached the court when Senkumar had submitted a letter requesting the government to appoint him as state administrative tribunal member. ‘Kerala Kaumudi’ had reported that IG V Gopalakrishnan had forged a case against Senkumar the case will not be valid in the court. The conspiracy was revealed when the records of general diary written by museum sub inspector Sunil were found. The police had registered the case without even taking statements from Dr.V K Ajith Kumar, who treated Senkumar.

 

The government does not want Senkumar to join administrative tribunal. That is why they are prolonging the case.
