KOZHIKODE: Excise minister T P Ramakrishnan has come forward saying that Ramesh Chennithala should prove all the allegations raised by Chennithala in connection with granting permission for a brewery. If any question raised by Chennithala requires an explanation, it will be given later, T P Ramakrishnan told reporters.

"There is nothing wrong in the government's decision to approve breweries and distillaries. The approval was given according to the liquor policy of LDF. The government's policy is to reduce alcohol consumption and we are going forward with necessary actions to implement the policy. Do not evaluate LDF like UDF. What did the UDF do to reduce alcohol consumption?” asked T P Ramakrishnan.
