THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K V Mohnakumar has been named as the recipient of Vayalar award this year. His novel ‘Ushnarasi’ was chosen for the award. The award carries carries a cash prize of 1 lakh, a citation, and a statuette designed by sculptor Kanayi Kunhiraman.
