THIRUVANNATHAPURAM: “A few days before he was murdered, TP Chandrasekharan visited my house and told me that he was under the threat of attack from his party co-workers,” this controversial revelation was made by KPCC President Mullapally Ramachandran on Monday.

“He had come home at around 12 am. I was the Union MoS for Home Affairs then. When he stepped out of my house he had a feeling that some persons were following him. Though I told him I shall also accompany him, he left without waiting for me,” Mullapally said this in Kaumudy TV’s programme ‘Straight line’.

Mullapally further opened his heart on why he was excluded from the investigation related to the political conspiracy behind the murder.
Switching to other topics, Mullapally said he would follow the path of compromises and consensus in the Congress. “My aim is to attain 20 Parliamentary seats, since 1977.  I shall strengthen the party from booth-level. I shall not contest in the election and in the coming election, winning prospect will be the only criteria for selecting the candidate.”

Tune in to Kaumudy TV at 7:35 pm on Monday for the detailed interview.
