KOLLAM: Three girls including two minors were abducted from Kollam on Sunday past midnight. Two persons whisked away the girls in an auto-rickshaw from Kottiyam police station limits, according to sources.
The two girls are sisters’ daughters and the third girl is their neighbour. One of them is 19-yr-old and the other two girls are minors.
Police have got the information that Paravur Kalakkodu natives Deepu and Ullas jointly abducted the girls.
The girls went missing after 1 am on Monday from Mukhathala temple premises. When the police tried to communicate the girls, one of them picked up the phone and talked in low voice. They alarmingly asked the police rescue and said they were in Deepu’s house.
The girl, however, could not identify the place where they were held hostages. The girl could talk to the police only because Ullas and Deepu were fast asleep. Later the phone went to switch-off mode.
The police are trying to locate the girls with the help mobile tower location.
