THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Violinist Balabhaskar passed away at around 1 am on Tuesday though he showed signs of improvement in his condition and regained  consciousness for  a short time on Monday.

He was forty and the end came at a private hospital where he was undergoing treatment; he is survived by wife Lekshmi.

Balabhaskar and his family had met with an accident on September 25. Sadly, their two-year-old daughter Thejaswi Bala succumbed to her injuries on that day itself. The conditions of his wife and driver Arjun showed improvement.

 

The news of the accident had sent shockwaves across the state and many of his fans and well wishers then took to Facebook to wish the couple a speedy recovery.

But, the fate had something else in store for the talented violinist.
