THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Renowned violinist Balabhaskar, who was critically injured in a road accident last month, passed away at 1 am on Tuesday at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Sabarinathan MLA has written a Facebook post remembering the last time he met Balabhaskar.

“I met Balabhaskar for the last time when I was having dinner with my wife Divya at a hotel in Thiruvananthapuram. Balabhaskar’s daughter came to our table and he came searching for her while we were cuddling his daughter. He introduced his daughter to us as Thejaswini. I still cannot believe that Balabhaskar has left us. Keralites will always remember him for his magical compositions and humility”, said Sabarinathan MLA in his Facebook post.
