PALAKKAD: The government decision to start a brewery in Elappulli has resulted in a political conflict. The government has decided to construct three breweries and one distillery in the state. One of these breweries will be set up in Palakkad. Former chief minister and chairman of Kerala Administrative Reforms Commission V S Achuthanandan had earlier come forward against this decision. Now, V T Balram has also come forward against this decision.
“I hope that V S Achuthanandan will be in the front against this decision, now M B Rajesh MP has to clarify his stand. I would like to know whether he is with the people or the liquor owners”, Balram said in his Facebook post.
