THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Doctors who treated violinist Balabhaskar very well knew that he would not return to a normal life. During the treatment itself, they had come to the conclusion that even if he had returned to life, he would been in a vegetative state.  

This is revealed by Indian Medical Association State Secretary Dr Sulphi Noohu on his Facebook page.

Noohu also says that he sincerely wished to see Balu living through five other people if his organs could be donated. “I was prepared for that unofficially for that, though you might not be a fit donor since the organs might have sustained series damages. Unfortunately I could not donate your organs to anyone, which could have given a ray of hope to at least a few of the 2020 potential recipients…”
