KOCHI: Women of all ages can enter Sabarimala following the Supreme Court verdict. Political parties have taken stands supporting and opposing this verdict. Political observer Advocate Jayashankar has come forward with his observations on the verdict.

“When LDF leaders especially Pinarayi Vijayan, Kanam Rajendran and Kadannappally Ramachandran welcomed the verdict, RSS and BJP have taken different stands. Meanwhile, opposition party Congress is coming to save lord Ayyappa from women who enter the temple. Congress stand has always been not to intervene in the religious beliefs and rituals. Mullappally, Chennithala, Muraleedharan and Sudhakaran have forgotten group conflicts. Mani sir and Johnny Nellur were always Ayyappa devotees. UDF will undertake Sabarimala protest now”, said advocate Jayashankar.
