KOCHI: Noted writer and critic Dr. M Leelavathy has come forward saying that she does not think that women’s entry to Sabarimala will affect lord Ayyappa’s celibacy. She was speaking at the induction programme of 2018-19 batch student in Kerala Media Academy.
“No degradation has occurred for the vigour of lord Guruvayurappan after temple entry proclamation. Women’s entry to Sabarimala will not affect lord Ayyappa’s celibacy. All these rituals were created by men, so we can change these rituals. I do not support the feminism which says that women should disobey men. Both men and women should be equals”, she said.
