THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has decided to hold meetings for settling the issues in connection with the Sabarimala verdict that allows women of all ages to enter Sabarimala. The Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will hold a direct meet with the tantri family. Devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran and board president A Padmakumar will meet the tantri prior to this.

CPM secretariat meet had directed on Friday that government should hold meetings with the concerned people. It was directed to meet the Travancore Devaswom Board, temple tantri and Panthalam royal family.

CPM has estimated that the Congress and BJP are trying to politicize the Supreme Court verdict. CPM is trying to settle the issue when several people including Panthalam royal family came forward to stage the protests against the government. The government also aims to eliminate all the misunderstandings in connection with the issue. They will also try to educate the people that the implementation of the verdict is a constitutional responsibility.

Congress and BJP have raised several false accusations against the government. CPM has come forward with an explanation that the government or CPM has no hidden agendas in this issue other than implementing a constitutional responsibility.
