KOCHI: Actor Mohanlal on Saturday reacted in jocular vein, when asked about women’s entry in Sabarimala.
He was emerging from the stage after taking part in a function organised by Viswashanthi Foundation in Kochi.
When asked about Sabarimala he cheekily beat the media person who asked the question.
Without uttering a word on Sabarimala, he switched to AMMA topic, saying that the executive meeting of AMMA will be held in Kochi on Saturday.
“In order to help the flood-affected, stage show under the aegis of AMMA s getting ready. The amount collected will go to the chief minister’s relief fund. We are planning to collect Rs Five crore through the stage show. Dileep’s issue will also be discussed in the meeting and the letter submitted by Women In Cinema Collective will also be discussed,” he said.
Mohanlal distributed the flood relief among Kaladi Sanskrit university students who were affected by flood.
In the function held at university auditorium, 200 girl students were given coupons to buy clothes worth Rs 5000. The coupon was distribution was done in association with Sheematti textiles. Innocent MP, University vice-chancellor Dr Dharmaraj Adatt and Beena Kannan took part in the function.
