KOCHI: Hindu activist Rahul Eswar has alleged that there is conspiracy by extremist Rightists behind the Supreme Court Verdict that allows entry for all women in Sabarimala.

“This extremism is dangerous for communal amity and cultural plurality. Our main goal is to fight against this,” he said.

Rahul said it was the first step of that group towards making inroads into all places of worship.

“When Hindu temples are used as a shield for this, the perpetrators get the advantage of secularism. Their main aim is uniform civil code. When it is done under the cover of a Hindu temple, they get a secular tag,” he said.

Rahul Eswar added that “Ayyappa bhakta Maha sangamam (mammoth gathering) will be held on October 17 in Pamba, demanding formation of Hindu tradition custom act. The sangaman will continue throughout Mandala season.”
