KOCHI: State Police Chief Loknath Behera has said if the women from Kerala police are reluctant to take up Sabarimala duty, arrangements will be made to bring here women from other states.

“The police’ responsibility is to implement the Supreme Court order. The policewomen will be deployed to ensure the safety of women reaching Sabarimala.

In accordance with the court order, women police will be deputed in Sabarimala in October itself. During Mandalam season, 500 women police officers will be deployed,” Behera said.
