THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sabarimala tantri Kandararu Mohanaru has withdrawn from meeting the government representatives on Monday to settle the Sabarimala issue. He said that he will meet the government representatives only after knowing government’s decision on filing a review plea. He will inform his decision to the government on Sunday. “What is the logic behind holding a meet after saying that the court verdict will be implemented?”, asked Sasikumara Varma, a member of the royal family.

The chief minister was supposed to meet tantri-family and members of Panthalam royal family on Monday. However, tantris and royal family members have not shown interest to meet the chief minister. They have informed their dissatisfaction in the issue to the devaswom minister Kadakampally Surendran. The government is trying to implement the Supreme Court verdict without any clashes. The government stand on the issue is that a commission including several people who are expert about the rituals of Sabarimala and Hinduism will be appointed to settle the issue and they have also clarified that the government had not taken the stand of CPM in the court.
