PATHANAMTHITTA: The district police chief has prepared the list of women police officers to be deployed at Sannidhanam following the Supreme Court verdict allowing women of all ages to enter Sabarimala. Superintend of police has sent a list of 40 women police officers was sent to the police headquarters. A decision on this will be taken on Sunday.

30 women officers will be brought to Sabarimala on October 14 and October 15. The police has taken this decision following the government stand to implement the Supreme Court verdict immediately.

Devaswom board has also issued a circular deploying women officers for special duty.
