KOCHI: Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) and its executives had faced several backlashes after taking a stand in favour of Dileep in the actress assault case. When new executives under the leadership of Mohanlal were elected, they had also taken a decision to reinstate Dileep, resulting in controversy.

Now ‘AMMA’ is facing a new headache following the ‘Me Too’ allegation against actor Mukesh. Everyone are looking forward for the decision of the association in the issue. Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) was formed following AMMA’s unwillingness to take an action against Dileep. AMMA has not yet taken a decision in the letter submitted by WCC members seeking action against Dileep.

A harassment allegation has been raised against actor and MLA Mukesh by director Tess Joseph. Tess now works as a casting director in Mumbai and revealed this through her Twitter account.

Tess said that Mukesh misbehaved with her during the shooting of Malayalam quiz show ‘Kodeeswaran’ 19 years ago. “Mukesh had called me multiple times, and he tried to change my room next to his room. Derek O Brien, my boss at that time spoke to me for an hour and gave me tickets to the next flight”, tweeted Tess Joseph.
