THIRUVANANTHAPURAM Actor-MP Mukesh has rejected the allegation levelled against him by Mumbai casting director Tess Joseph, who has claimed that her revelation was part of the #Metoo campaign.

“It was not I who had called Tess Joseph...she might have said that due to some misunderstanding… I will never do that. I think it was some other Mukesh Kumar…,” he told media persons on Wednesday.

Mukesh said that he even didn’t know Tess Joseph. “Derek O\'Brien is like guru to me. I have worked with him later also. Ten years ago we met and had a friendly chat.”

Meanwhile, the CPM MLA said that he supported #MeToo campaign.

“If there are bad experiences, girls should come forward to speak out... Thus more girls will come into the art industry,” he added.
When asked about whether he would resign on the basis of the complaint, Mukesh said that he would discuss the matter in the party and would accept whatever decision the party made. He also added that he would also think over the issue and decide later whether to take legal action or not.

Tessa had on Tuesday come out with the allegation that 19 years Mukesh had called her up with amorous intentions during the shoot of Kodeeshwaran channel programme in Chennai. It was her suprerior officer Derek O\'Brien, who helped her wriggle out of the situation.
