THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Centre has refused to give permission to Kerala ministers, except the chief minister, to go abroad as part of its fund rising mission for rebuilding the flood-battered State.

Though the chief minister was given permission to go, it was not without certain conditions. The chief minister has been asked not to accept foreign funds or hold talks with foreign representatives.

Eighteen ministers including the chief minister had sought the permission of the Centre to go abroad.
The minister had plans to fly abroad on October 18.

Meanwhile, Minister Sunil Kumar said that they would be able to sort out the hurdles coming in the way of their travel plans.
