archana-padmini

KOCHI: Actress Archana Padmini, who revealed at a press conference held by Women in Cinema Collective on Saturday that she had a very bad expereince from a film crew member during the shoot of Mammootty film Pullikaran Stara, has invited the wrath of FEFKA president and director B Unnikrishnan.

Unnikrishnan said what she was saying was a blatant lie. When she mailed her complaint, he and Sibi Malayil advised her to file a police complaint but she was not ready for it.

“When Archana sent an email to us metioning the incident, we called her to the office. The accused person was also called in. We clearly told her that what she had alleged comes under a criminal offence. A complaint could be filed at the police station. FEFKA would extend all the support. She denied the suggestion and said that she was not interested in police case and was only seeking association’s action. She had written and signed the same. The accused was suspended on the same day”.

Unnikrishnan said that legal actions would be sought against Archana Padmini and Women in Cinema Collective for making false allegations against him.

Unnikrishnan added that there was nothing wrong in casting Dileep in his movie. He said that he couldn't do an Akshay Kumar or Aamir Khan.
