KOCHI: Association of Malayalam Movie Actors (AMMA) has come forward with a reply to the allegations raised by Women in Cinema Collective (WCC) members. AMMA has clarified that the organization's main objective is to seek justice for the victim of actress assault case and the press-release of actor Jagadeesh, executive committee member of AMMA also states that they are not concerned about Dileep's involvement in the case, until it is proven in the court.

'All problems were being solved. However, floods came during that time. The members of AMMA were busy with disaster relief activities. We had also decided to coordinate a stage show for collecting money to the chief minister's disaster relief fund. The executive committee of AMMA could not give a reply to WCC as they were also busy with planning this programme', Jagadeesh said in the press release.

AMMA has also clarified about Thilakan's expulsion. Thilakan was expelled by the executive committee and later the decision was approved by the general body. Though Dileep was expelled by executive commitee, general body did not agree it. Therefore, executive committee cannot take a final decision. A general body meeting will be immediately held to discuss this matter", clarified Jagadeesh.

'Dileep's involvement in the case is not proven in court. Therefore, we cannot say that he is the accused for sure. Nambi Narayanan was found to be innocent years later. What if Dileep is also innocent? Therefore, right now our concern is not Dileep, we stand united for the victim. If Dileep is found to be guilty by the court, then further action will be taken', actor Mahesh told media.
