NILAKKAL: Former Devaswom Board president Prayar Gopalakrishnan has said that if a woman of menstruating age happens to enter Sabarimala temple, he will stop his prayers and he is even ready to sacrifice his life for the cause of Sabarimala.

He said this while interacting with media persons at Nilakkal on Wednesday morning.

“The police action against people who are protesting against women’s entry in Sabarimala is not right. If their intention is to supress the agitation, let them do it. I will be in Sabarimala to protect the belief of believers,” he said.

Gopalakrishnan had arrived in Pamba early to take part in Namajapa protest. Namajapa protest started at Pamba from Wednesday morning itself.
