PATHANAMTHITTA: Cherthala girl Libi, who braved the ongoing protests to reach Pathanamthitta on Wednesday, is hoping to climb the Sabarimala hillock by noon, though she was blocked at Pathanamthitta. “We shall surely win. The police force is with me. I will climb the hillock by noon,” she has wrote on her Facebook post.

As people milled around her at Pathanamthitta bus stand, the police cordoned off her and whisked her away in their jeep to police station.

Libi said that she had arrived in Sabarimala , trusting the court order and beliving in the chief minister’s words.

Libi started from Cherthala Wednesday morning. As she was blocked at several places, she went to Changanassery police station and filed a complaint. After that she was blocked again blocked at Patahanmthitta bus stand by aggressive passengers, protestors and locals.
