THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Deepa Rahul Easwar has come forward against the arrest of Rahul Easwar. Deepa said that Rahul’s arrest is unnecessary and it was not made in proper manner. She was talking in a live video on Facebook standing in front of Kottarakkara sub jail.

“Rahul was arrested for blocking Madhavi, who reached from Andhra Pradesh to climb Sabarimala, and he is also charged of interrupting the police from their duties. However, Rahul was not at Sannidhanam, Pampa or near Marakkoottam. Rahul was not arrested properly. Rahul was brought in a tractor, covered with tarpaulin. I did not believe it first. However, Rahul told me this directly. Rahul is fasting for Sabarimala since Thursday. Even if he was not in jail, he would have done this”, said Deepa.
